Please Share this information: What is Puerto Rico International Film Fest & Convention 2015, also known as PRIFFC? It is the first film convention held in Puerto Rico and Latin America. As a film festival this is its second edition. During the first edition we screened 70 movies from all over the world. Among them, 28 were made in Puerto Rico, including 5 features films. And of these, 3 had their World Premier. Why was this festival created? The Puerto Rico International Film Fest & Convention (PRIFFC) was created as an open platform to give an opportunity to all Independent filmmakers from Puerto Rico, Latin America & Iberoamerica, to exhibit their movies to the public attending the festival and in this way promote them locally and internationally, for we at The Puerto Rico International Film Fest & Convention know how difficult it can be for a film producer to get his films distributed and exhibited at commercial theaters. We at PRIFFC, welcome independent filmmakers around the world to come and exhibit their movies and also to participate in the forums about them. What are the categories we are accepting? Short Film Future Film Animation (Short Film / Future Film) Documentary ( Short Film / Experimental / Future Film) What are the prize? The grand prize is : For the best movie is going to have international distribution thanks my the filmmaker and distributor Mr. Gustavo Nieto Roa from Centauro Comunication. Where I can register my movie? priffc.net What we are going to have at the festival? Seminars Work Shop Pitch - Distribution - In here the filmmaker are going to have 15 minutes to present their movie to our distributors guest. Local Tourism- In here you are going to have the opportunity to see our beautiful Island Puerto Rico.
