Yuletide Artisans Faire and Chilly Chili Cook Off When: Dec. 7th. 2014 Where: Hazel Park, Michigan Join Pagan Pride Detroit, Great Lakes Witchs Council, Michigan Counci Event Details: Join Pagan Pride Detroit, Great Lakes Witchs Council, Michigan Council of Coven and Solitaires, and Northern Mist Kindred for our second year Interfaith Yule celebration on December 7, 2014 from 1-5 p.m.. Well be at the Hazel Park Recreation Center for four fabulous hours to enjoy the best in Winter gift vendors, fellowship, local home spun entertainment, childrens games and programming, refreshments, and activities. Be sure to get there early to catch the Holly King and the Faerie Queen open the affair. Enjoy the gift giveaway from the jolly fellow, and a tea party with the queen. M.C.C.S. will be collecting for their Adopt-a-Family Program. Toys, non perishable items, etc. are all welcome. Let the Blessings of the Season light your heart with generosity as we approach the Solstice. Northern Mist Kindred joins us this year with a joyful packed Heathen themed program filled with games for the young and young at heart. Make some num nums for the reindeer to feast on, toss a hammer, and more! Games such as the Mead relay (apple cider) and others will make this year very busy for the little ones. L.J. Rose of Lotions, Potions, and Notions will be our featured presenter this year. Learn all about what you need to prepare yourself naturally for the winter season with herbs. Live entertainment, singalongs, and a few surprises await you. Dont forget the Chilly Chili Cook Off. Compete for the honor of becoming the weilder of the Spoon of Destiny. Hand carved by Lyon, and burned by Belladonna, the main spoon bears the name of last years winner. Will your name be next? There can be only one! This is your chance to shine with those one of a kind, home crafted, or inspired works. This is all about making a holiday happening that feels good for consumer and seller, so let your imagination soar. Remember to bring donations for Adopt-A-Family. New toys, nonperishable items, and pet supplies would be a great place to start. Entry Fee is $5.00 for those 13 yrs and older.
