Please be aware of scammers that may call you and tell you that you may be eligible for a grant or refund, and then ask for your bank account information. You should never give your bank information, social security number, or other personal identification over the phone, unless you are sure of who you are talking to. Also, you should never have to send money via Western Union to get any grant money or refund. For phone scammers, its best just to hang up. If you are a victim of Internet crime, you can report Internet crimes at ic3.gov . A good source of scam and safety information is at fbi.gov/scams-safety
