Please be aware that the Southern University Police Department is writing tickets for traffic and parking violations as well as those vehicles without SUSLA parking permits. All vehicles (with the exception of reserved parking) who park on any property of Southern University at Shreveport are required to have a parking permit on their vehicle. Instructions are found on SUSLA’s website: susla.edu/administration/Documents/Police/Parking_Permit_Registration.pdf • Pay the Cashier $30…bring your paid receipt along with your vehicle registration form completed. The Cashier accepts cash, debit or credit card • To those who are renewing their application and have not changed vehicles since August 2013, you will only need to bring the paid receipt (place a note on the receipt with the type vehicle, license plate number, and your previous vehicle permit number) • To first time applicants, please follow the instructions under Parking & Traffic • If you have received a Traffic Fine, please check with the University Police concerning this matter. This, too, will have to be paid at the Cashier’s Office before receiving a current permit. Thank You, University Police Department
