*Please be informative and respectful* FQ: My 13 month old breastfeeder had a well baby check today. I was on the verge of tears because her weight percentile dropped. It was shocking because she eats 3 full healthy meals a day plus a snacks. The Dr who we have had for years since my oldest, who we love said it is because of the breastmilk. She said after a year, the fat content drops and the need for whole milk increases. She didnt say to cut off completely but that I need to decrease nursings and start giving whole milk. I was planning to go until 18 months. What do you think? A little heartbroken!
