Please be mindful that when you adopt an animal, they need quite time to adjust. Especially cats. Some have been in homes before, some have not, but for sure it is an adjustment and they have no way to know where they are or what is expected of them. Cats need time to quietly explore and find their safe spot. Give them time to feel safe and patiently allow how ever much time is needed. If you have other animals, they need the same consideration. It will be worth the wait to have a well adjusted, happy animal(s). Please make sure all the family members who will be interacting with the animal in the home meet them before adopting the new family member.
