Please check out all the available furbabies at rosscountyhumanesociety.org. There are many lab and lab mixes, full blooded shepherd, jack russels, terriers, pitties, etc... If youd like to know more about any dog, please message the page. A shelter rep will respond with answers to any questions you may have. Two questions we routinely get is how a dog gets along with cats, and are they house-broken ....we do not house cats and really cannot guarantee the house-breaking question...what we can do is tell you a little more about the dog based on our time with them and observations. Same goes for any dog youd like to meet....we will bring any dog, to you, to your home, the park, where-ever locally, so you can meet them away from the shelter and its commotion. We can also recommend a dog for you based on your situation and life style...We have many favorites that are overlooked, and passed by... The shelter is always looking for volunteers-dogs need walked and exercised, groomed and brushed, and just simply need some human interaction. We also need towels, treats, food, collars and leashes, monetary help for our vet account so we can help every dog that comes through our door with their health issues... Fosters are always needed....at this time, only two people foster for the shelter....this is a cost-free, no expense to you, way to help both the shelter, but especially a dog who just needs out and some one on one attention.
