Please email rescueonespringfield@gmail if you can help out! We need ALL of our Facebook friends to share this very important post. It could make a difference for a furry friend this winter. Do you have an extra dog house in good condition or bales of straw you would like to donate to animals in need? Colder weather is right around the corner and we are already out of doghouses. While all of us here at Rescue One fully believe that pets should never be left outside in freezing temperatures, there are still many pets that are never allowed inside. Some have no shelter at all and many animals freeze to death every winter. We are already receiving messages about animals in need and are hoping to provide warm shelter to as many as possible again this year. Please PM us if you would like to donate a dog house or straw and we will let you know where to drop off. Dont think we forgot about the cats! We will also be accepting plastic totes with lids that can be turned into cat shelters. Thank you for continuing to care about the comfort of the animals in our community! By providing help and education, it does make a difference.
