Please circulate. Please note the following temporary road closure to enable the Council to carry out preparation and resurfacing works. The works are due to commence on dates given below and are expected to last for the days specified, subject to weather. Preparation Works 1. Oakfield Road, Blacon, between the junction with Highfield Road and the junction with Virginia Drive, including the junctions with Woodside Road, Onslow Road and Wavertree Road. This closure will commence on Thursday 8 January 2015 for two days. 2. Mayfield Road, Blacon, between the junction with Saughall Road and the junction with Egerton Road including the junctions with Willow Drive and Provan Way. This closure will commence on Wednesday 7 January 2015 for two days. 3. Egerton Road, Blacon, between the junction with Saughall Road and the bridge over the Chester - Deeside Cycleway, including the junctions with Naomi Close and Dentith Drive. This closure will commence on Tuesday 6 January 2015 for three days. Resurfacing Works 1. Oakfield Road, Blacon, between the junction with Highfield Road and the junction with Virginia Drive, including the junctions with Woodside Road, Onslow Road and Wavertree Road. This closure will commence on Wednesday 14 January 2015 for two days. 2. Mayfield Road, Blacon, between the junction with Saughall Road and the junction with Egerton Road including the junctions with Willow Drive and Provan Way. This closure will commence on Monday 12 January 2015 for two days. 3. Egerton Road, Blacon, between the junction with Saughall Road and the bridge over the Chester - Deeside Cycleway, including the junctions with Naomi Close and Dentith Drive. This closure will commence on Tuesday 13 January 2015 for one day. The diversionary route is via: 1. Via Oakfield Road, Auckland Road, Melbourne Avenue, Western Avenue, Highfield Road and vice versa. 2. No diversion (includes Provan Way). 3. No Diversion (includes Naomi Close and Dentith Drive).
