Please consider joining us on September 11 from 7-8:00 at St. Maria Goretti for family holy hour as we pray for all those being persecuted, especially in Iraq and Syria. The other murdered journalist, James Foley, spoke of the strength he got from praying the rosary during his imprisonment. At the end of each decade of the rosary, you say the words, . . . . lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy. Can you imagine praying for your captors, torturers and killers like this?! I can say the words easily right now, but surely do not know if I could if it was my son that was beheaded or if I was next up to be hanged. So much to think abut, pray about and hopefully be drawn to action before this comes to our doorsteps!!!!
