Please consider this today, I ask that we pray and continue to pray without ceasing. The stark truth is that our fellow Christians are being killed, exterminated family. It is time to pray. Do it now. We may individually have ‘our’ issues but consider these, our brothers and sisters, in Iraq, Syria and others Muslim dominated countries who have faith in Christ and really nothing else. No material possessions, fleeing for their lives. Would Christ be enough for you or I in the face of death? Please do not sit back. Pray family that our Lord will bring peace and come for these, our kindred, in the greatest time of need. This is not isolated family. Just as the spread of radicalism at the start of WWII so is this time of utter evil. Let us pray for all that are persecuted in this time of evil chaos. Let’s pray for Jews and outcast Muslims also, not just our kindred, that they would know that it is Christ who delivers. “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil,” wrote the Hebrew prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 5:20). Woe to world leaders who are ignoring true evil and condemning those who are trying to defending themselves. As Christians, let us pray faithfully and consistently for Christians in the Middle East to have courage to stand for Christ and boldly proclaim the Gospel — the good news — amidst such darkness and evil. We need to pray for the Lord to protect Jews, Christians and Muslims from this jihadist wave of terror. We need to speak out — don’t be silent in the face of great evil — we must urge the democracies and all civilized nations of the world to fight such terror and help those who are defending themselves against Radical Islam. But we must not wait for governments to do the right thing.
