Please continue to keep Kathy and David in your prayers and that God will make an opening sooner than 2016 for Kathy. God is so good and He has brought them so far and finally gave them some answers. Copied from Kathy Duncans page: Kathy Mabrey Duncan I have been diagnosed with Central Sensitization, also known as Central Pain Syndrome, Thalamic Pain Syndrome, Dejerine-Roussy Syndrome, or Post Stroke Syndrome. It is the result of damage or injury to the central nervous system. This may have been caused by a spinal cord surgery in the past, but we will never know for sure. Treatment options are limited and include various medications that I am already on. A cure isnt known of at this point. The doctors at the Mayo Clinic have referred me to a rehab clinic there for a 3 week treatment that they feel may help. After the 3 week treatment, I will be sent home with tools to work with my own doctor as there is currently no cure for this. Unfortunately, the first opening isnt until 2016. We are praying that there is a cancellation for an earlier date. We are also researching other places that might offer similar treatment.
