Please continue your prayers for Joseph, here is todays update. God speed him to good health. Another lengthy surgery and update on Joseph from family friend Stanley Taylor, posted on FB tonight. Update : Our dear friend Joseph has been through yet another major surgery lasting about 5 hours. He is just now returning to ICU ( about 8:45 pm ) He was to have a procedure to remove excessive gel like fluid from around his lung and was to take about an hour to hour and a half operating time. What was to come, only God could know ,which a thoracotomy ,a large incision full opening of the chest procedure? The gel like substance and fluid wa found to be massive infection, totally encasing the chest wall ,lung ,and surrounding tissues. Painstakingly ,literally layer after layer of infectious material was peeled off and away from his chest cavity and lung. Thanks be to God for his surgeon who prayed for Joseph as he operated with skillful precision. Joseph will be kept on the ventilator and sedatedy to allow healing and rest to his body. Still a very long road ahead but, the prognosis is good ! God is the great physician who used many amazing people to assist Him today. Thank you for continued prayer ,love ,and care for this family.
