Please contribute to a very important international survey: Dear friends, By this message we would like to inform you about a study which has started in all Europe regarding people who live out of their country. The aim of this study is to investigate the barriers to health care system which may face the immigrants in the country where they live. You may know better than anyone that many immigrants go to the doctor when their health problem is already advanced and thus their health may be seriously affected. We want to know what prevents the immigrants access to health services in order to help to the improvement of the situation. The study is called aMASE. It is conducted in many European countries while in Greece is conducted under the responsibility of the Laboratory of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Medical Statistics. Ass. Professor Giota Touloumi is scientifically responsible for the study in Greece. Everyone can participate in aMASE if: · is over 18 years old · lives away from his/her own country · lives (or planes to live) in Greece for more than six months Everyone who wants to participate can visit the webpage amase.gr and fill the questionnaire which takes 15 to 20 minutes. It is anonymous and nobody can find the participant identity. The questionnaire is translated to many languages (Amharic, Arabic, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Turkish). However if someone feels that needs help he can visit the polyclinic of the NGO PRAKSIS (Paioniou 5 Str and Aharnon) where he/she will fill the questionnaire with the help from someone who is there for this reason.
