Please, correct my essay! Do students have to wear a uniform? By the beginning of each academic year, the question arises; Do our students have to wear school uniforms? Actually, I personally believe our schools still have big reasons to sustain such a notion. Because uniform can plant, in the students, the idea of thinking and treating with each other equally, for it unifies all students’ social classes in one uniform. Additionally, it helps students concentrate on their studies rather than on topics that may occupy their thinking like fashion ...etc. Moreover, a uniform has brought one of the solutions to the phenomenon of escaping from schools as it is easier to locate a school student in a uniform. So in short, wearing uniforms aids schools in achieving a better educational environment. The first reason for keeping uniforms is that it makes students feel equally, and it eliminates class distinction among them. Because uniforms give a sense of similarity inside students, there is no space for showing off or mocking at each other. What a uniform does is that it unifies a child of shaek and a child of head maker in one code dress. The second reason to keep a law of uniform is that it plays an important role in enhancing students educational achievements. Wearing no uniform makes students care much for their appearance and clothes and focus on what everyone wears instead of being interested in learning. Students do not have to waste their time thinking of what to wear before a school day. With uniforms, schools avoid the arising of clothing problems, like inappropriate last trend, then give much attention to the academic performance of students. Imposing a uniform helps us form the proper appearance for our students, so our efforts will be focused more on the educational process. Arwa Althabhani, principal of Asma School in Taiz, said. A psychologist, who does not advocate school uniforms, says that wearing a uniform will not help students develop high taste ability. Actually, parents who choose for kids what to wear most of the time then this advantage becomes of less or no value. Moreover, socially speaking, a uniform grants school students more than that which is an identity and an honorable position in their society the same as doctors, police officers and others professionals who have uniforms. Therefore, students wearing uniforms means a better academic achievements. Eventually, as students running away from schools issue becomes a common phenomenon, uniforms share in solving it. They indeed facilitate in locating school students if they are out of class, or when they go out during school time. Escaping their classes, students go to play in internet cafes. Karam, who works in an internet cafe, said a lot of school students come daily to my cafe wearing their uniforms, so I dismiss them guessing that they probably run out of school. A uniform eases for school and neighborhood searching for school escapees. When I was child, I used to run away from school. Nevertheless, I would hide out of sight ,so no one, in my neighborhood, might see me in a uniform out of school and inform my parents. However, many times, since they saw me, I had been caught an returned back to school. If there had been no uniform law in my school, I would have never continued my education, due to being out of school, and I am not taking this writing course now. To conclude, although a uniform is of a great important to school and students, parents still ask Do our kids have to wear a uniform? My answer for this question is absolutely yes, they have to wear it because of its definite necessity to consolidate equality among students. Sustaining the rule of wearing a uniform is also an ultimate need, for it keeps students in track of their academic level and reduces distractions with matters of clothing during school time. Finally, it helps in spotting students, who escape from school, and safely getting them back to their classes. As it is obvious uniforms can instill a sense of stability inside school and help school direct its efforts and supervision on educational process.
