Please delete if not allowed. Can anyone help lead us in the right direction? My husband and I are living in a one bedroom WiTH our 19 month old... Our ceiling has fallen through bc of botched roof repairs. You can see in our ceiling where hes botched repaired it, this has made it colder even with heat. Its like dripping in my apartment right now. The railing in the hallway is one lean or push from falling completely apart. The landlord is now blaming everyone but himself for things falling apart. Our friends who love down the steps from us are having similar problems. He said someone is tearing stuff up. Us along with our elderly friends have only lived here since October 2014. I want to write him a letter and put money in escrow but are completely terrified bc if he kicks us out, we have absolutely no where to go, and no money for a different place. We have a building inspector coming for the outside, but dont know what to do as far as the inside.
