Please do not give our kids presents for Christmas or birthdays. Instead give them a gift. Stop by for a visit, take one or both to the museum, a movie, the park, or have them over for a play date. Their favorite thing to do is go to the library and read. You can do this with them. If you are out of town contribute to their activity fund. Sports, piano, SPARK art class, etc. I appreciate the past presents, but we have an overload of stuff they ignore &/or we donate. I know it is easy to give a toy, little or big, and feel great when you see them smile. But that only lasts a short moment. They will remember you more and consider you more for the time they spend with you. If you ask me, I will do the same for your children. Thank you Colleen Saxlen for sharing this.
