The desperation among our people, especially women, leads them to such conduct; others eat grass, many take Nyaope, while others spend billions taken from tax payers. we are yet to see many such shocking spectacles. In 1968 when I had been in prison for 5 years and Mandela 4 years, the National Party had been in power for 20 years. By that time it was a working machine, more so because they had most of us securely in prison. No Afrikaner child was out of school nor even hungry and clothesless. No Afrikaner family was homeless. There were banks by the Afrikaners for the Afrikaners and by the Afrikaners, fully functional. Need I say more? Twenty years after our heroes had laid down their arms, hoping for a better life for all, we are still making excuses. I weep for the destitute, while Lonmin is counting dollars and hoodwinking our people and giving them a pittance for their land and minerals.
