(Please do read till end) Was an amazing turn out the last time I attended one in town and In sha Allah this is going to be even BIGGER & BETTER! Lets do our bit people. We may not be able to help our brothers and sisters in the physical sense, but along with the power of Dua (supplication) lets be uniting to show our support. Its the very least from our part. Make sure to invite ALL your friends and family via the event page and tell them to invite THEIR friends and family too! Come along be it for 10,20,30minutes and lets be together in voicing our concern, be together in showing our love for the innocent of Gaza who have their voices, their cry out for help so heartbreakingly ignored. Please dont ignore this post, nor the event. If you can not attend share it so others may be aware. The media will not cover anything so let us make this togetherness of ours be a form of media so others may In sha Allah come to know about the events that are unfolding. (And yes there are those who havent got a clue) The Prophet (Sallallahu aliyhi wasallam) described the Ummah as one body, but look at the condition in which we have become. Asthagfirullah. Whilst we fast in Ramadhan thinking of when and what food we will break our fasts with.. our family in Palestine fast not knowing if that time will even come! And that is the pain staking reality. Whilst our brothers go out to buy food for Iftaar they are shot dead and we remain quiet. SHAME ON US. Our mothers cover the ears of their children so that they may not fear, nor cry out when the missiles, the bombs fall one after another. Yet we remain quiet. SHAME ON US. Our children are kidnapped, tortured, killed in the most monstrous of ways, and even set on FIRE! 😪 yet we still remain quiet, silent like nothing has happened. SHAME ON US SHAME ON US SHAME ON US. May Allah forgive us for forgetting, may Allah forgive us for ignoring and may he give us the ability to finally start caring and realising. Aameen! For the people of Gaza, for the people of Palestine and those lost and those going through this ever so painful struggle, may they be rewarded with the highest of paradise..
