Please dont build affordable homes these are not affordable to a vast amount of people .build only social homes .Affordable homes wont help the waiting lists.Private rentals are far more expensive and cost the taxpayer more,social housing is the key cheaper homes cheaper rent cheaper welfare bill. If you wanted to do something good . You could reduce the rent on social housing this in turn will make private drop theres to compete,this will also have the affect of lowering the welfare bill, and ultimately reducing the deficit .
