Please dont worry...Im OK. Satan will NOT win! Cant type fast with one hand, but very long story short,the Attack happened at 5:45 Tuesday morning. I was awoken by my right arm/hand.. Feeling paralyzed. I didnt have loss or slurred speech,confusion or drooping in face or other extremities, so, I ruled out stroke. In fact, with as many medical problems that have happened the last year and a half, I was embarrassed to tell anyone outside my home much less ask for prayers. My parents and siblings didnt even know. Until yesterday, when I went to doctor....then sent to E.R.,then transported to UL stroke center. I was initially kinda scared but then felt blessed that my brain was working, I could walk, breathe, everything I most certainly take for granted most days. Brain scan seemed normal, heart &lung pics were OK. In hindsight, I should have immediately gone to ER as the window to completely eliminate stroke or seizure is a now 4 hrs. The probable diagnosis is radial nerve palsy. I have limited use of right arm and zero use of wrist and hand......but, blessed to have it all the same, whether it ever works properly again. I feel I will get it back...will take time but I figure I have great hostesses that can unhook a necklace for me....he he. I start physical therapy today. I am also so very grateful for my family and friends!!! Thank u for caring about me! Im blessed, indeed. God is so good!
