Please enjoy your (possible) introduction to the Baatara Gorge Waterfall, or “Three Bridge Chasm,” in Tannourine, Lebanon. It has been formed over millions of years by winter meltwater carving its way through limestone. The waterfall is fed by meltwater from Mount Lebanon, falls 250 meters into the chasm’s depths past 160-million-year-old limestone from Jurassic period which has left this beautiful landscape for us to enjoy and take photographs of. Looks like I already have a days plans in Lebanon and I havent even thought about making a trip yet!!!
