Please, everyone whos up for a job this year, if theres one thing that the Salaita case reminds us, aside from how much pressure the right wing zionist establishment can and will exert to silence criticism of israel by anyone in academia, is NOT to resign one job until the new job is completely confirmed and theres no way to rescind the offer. (musicians should remember this too, sadly… i guess musicians and professors are having more in common than ever before..)
