Please examine the words, actions, and postures. Why did this happen? Was the passenger wrong? Were the police wrong? My first observation is the passenger was wrong in his relationship with the woman I assume is the mother of his baby. He is not her master and should not order her about that way. She wanted to comply and that is her choice. The conduct of ordering her around that way would have made me concerned for his mental disposition. The police retained a relaxed posture, indicating they missed this important tell sign of a potentially violent suspect. Not saying his actions deserved being shot, maced, beaten, or arrested. Being an overbearing partner is not illegal. But it is a tell sign of personality inclined towards violence.
