Please excuse my frustration!!!!!!! Im tired of seeing the same damn thing that end with the same damn results. Its sad that in alot of cases, being Black and confronted by the law ends in death. Fruitvale, New York, St. Louis, Chicago and the list continues. Its not just the law officers that swore to serve and protect, but more citizens to be allowed that same right. Now lets be clear this is not just a Black thing, because its happening all over this country. Recent events have shown gross cases of #RacialInjustice. In Pittsburgh #LeonFord escaped death as Pittsburgh police tried to end his life, while the whole incident was being recorded. #EricGarner choked to death while reclaiming he couldnt breathe. #JordanDavis killed for playing his music too loud. Killer gets convicted of attempted murder, but not of murder. This shit is ridiculous. #StopKillingOurKids thats a strong statement. I represent my Locals Next Generation Program where we try to build and develop the next generation of leaders. How can I tell young Black conscious people that youre a leader when their future isnt guaranteed. Its bad enough Black on Black ignorance is killing our kids. Do we really have to slim their chances for a life down more. #EndRacialProfiling. You all need to accept that were no different from you. Our cultures might have us doing some things different, but inside were all the same. Prayers going to #Ferguson. They are also going to the family of #MichaelBrown first. Also send them to any family who has suffered from #RacialInjustice and anyone who has suffered from #PoliceBrutality. Things has got to change. For everyone in Ferguson. If you want stand together and develop legislation that will protect the next child. I want you all to remember. Violence only brings more violence and love will inevitably bring more love. Rev.
