Please feel free to forward possible agents, nominate for Moutiers hospitals got talent etc. On a less serious note I would like to extend a massive thank you to all my FB friends that have helped keep my spirits up over the last week. I know there has been loads of neg hype about FB being soul destroying, mindless and lazy but from my side of the hospital bed I see a different picture. I am blessed to have a large loving family and a quite extensive network of friends spread across the world... Despite all the love it doesnt mean I dont find myself alone and frightened at times... People cant always be there even if they would like to be. FB has seen me through a few rough patches as it opens up that reservoir and brings it to my bed... Im not alone, friends far and wide are with me, it may just be a like but that gives a little nod when they might not have time for more and very often they are followed up by private messages. Needing contact is part of being human I of course would rather have a hug or a smile but to have a quick hello from Australia or a thumbs up from whoever its a magic medicine at times. Then theres contact in another way... To want to share a funny moment, a beautiful scene or just a great quote, dont we all burst wanting to share things at times, its not showing off or attention seeking its just reaching out. Well for those that are of the negative FB camp I imagine you arent reading this, for those that have got this far in what is turning into a novel... I would like to say thank you for being there through thick and thin ... For goodness sakes lulu just stop there wont you! Oh no cant just yet... Have to add that I have had fun visits with clandestine food packages and even flowers that have sneaked past the watch tower & managed to stay hidden from the nurses... Merci ! The medical staff that despite my grumblings have on the whole done a great job! and finally to the unsuspecting Clair and Les that have kindly offered to look after me for the next few months! Good luck. Im at this point sure Ive lost you all so Ill just say a rude word to check merde! Tee hee
