Please follow our Cathedral Website, there is great news for all family members. Sunday School Committee Sunday School Director: Peter Giannacopoulos PTA Presidents: Mr. & Mrs. John Georgountzos About Sunday School There is no substitute for a good religious education. Mostly everyone would name this among the most important factors in a child’s development. An education is the greatest gift you can give to your children and the best investment for their future. The Sunday School of the Cathedral Family has been a leading religious educational institution for decades. Our mission has always been to provide our students with a top-notch Christian education, while also endowing them with the timeless ideals of Hellenism. All of our students receive high-level instruction in Church history, culture and religion. Aside from our impressive teaching methods offered by volunteers, many of whom also teach in public schools, our Sunday School offers a warm friendly environment, with a family atmosphere that is so necessary to promote real learning. In today’s world, this atmosphere plays a key role in a child’s life. The Cathedral students benefit from a plethora of extra-curricular activities, educational trips and athletic events. Our student-friendly classrooms, one-on-one teaching instruction and favorable teacher-student ratio allows our hand-picked, dedicated teaching staff to focus on the needs of each student individually and relate to them in a much more personal manner. Through the information included above, we invite you and your child (children) to become stewards of the Annunciation Cathedral family. We hope that this miniature written tour of our Sunday School, with its excellent environment, high standard of education and commitment to the Hellenic-Christian ideals will encourage you to come and take a real tour of our facilities.
