This is a short documentary about a project at a US Dept. of Energy National Lab, that could have, and still could, really change the world. A radically different approach to designing a nuclear reactor, that would allow us to power the United States for CENTURIES without mining *any additional uranium*, and that has a pretty unique safety feature - in the case of an emergency, the reactor can completely shut itself down without human intervention,and with no electrical power or even, moving parts, and can passively cool itself.
