Please help save Wolves. These animals have been given a bad rap by the people who hate them. Why they hate them is unclear to me, maybe they have started believing the lies told about Wolves. These animals are family oriented. Wolves mate for life, more than can be said for most people. They are wild animals who live in the wild. Gee, not so hard to grasp. Like all wild animals, they hunt & eat to survive. That is the way of nature. The wolves were in the forests, deserts & up in the tundra long before we got here. We invade their homelands & steal their habitat & food supply & wage war on them. Then in our infinite wisdom we move cattle & sheep into their territory where we have plundered the natural game/food or the wolves then cant figure out why sometimes, not very often, wolves attack & eat the cattle & sheep. They have a right to live, just as we do. Their numbers are very close to being to low to make a come back from extinction. So what do states from Washington & Idaho to Wisconsin & Maine & all over this country decide to do, they decide to have a free for all on butchering wolves. With prizes & picnics and the whole shebang. Please help stop these senseless slaughters. Check out sites like Defenders of Wildlife, Care2 & so many others. Please get involved, after all our wonderful friends the dog, wouldnt be here if not for wolves.
