Please help to get a petition launched if you share the same view! Deo borrem korrunk!! Konkani!! Amche maim bhass!!! It was written and utilised in Roman script for over 400 years in Goa Damão E Diu ! It was followed by English also in the same script much later across the Indian Raj by the British Emperors! Ever since so called independence in India, English is retained as a "national" language in the Roman script....... very well than where is the equality as since "independence" in Goa, Indian central Government has hypocritically denounced the use of Roman scripted Konkani.......................WHY?? How also can India claim that Goa got "independence" when we the people of Goa never asked India for help in liberation on the contrary, our fathers were very contently remained as a separated territory non-aligned to any state. "Goans" quite simply regardless of religion are not "Indians" India believes in democracy, that being the case India stop bullying Goa with your military might and hold a referendum and of course you know that we the 6million Goans Worldwide would rather be self governed free of India, just like every other former Portuguese colony!!
