Please help us help the pound dogs of Wicklow. We formed a year ago to address long held concerns about Wicklow Pound. Due to the obstruction, stonewalling, bullying, lack of transparency and public information we have experienced, we are seeking signatures on our petition - one for every dog killed in Irish pounds last year. While the figures at Wicklow pound have improved since we began promoting the dogs we are allowed to see there, there is so much more that we could to do help but we are being denied that opportunity. The ISPCA currently call Wicklow Pound a shelter, which is entirely misleading and untrue. This is NOT a shelter. It is a pound run to the bare requirements of a very outdated Control of Dogs Act. It is a pound which continues to refuse volunteer help and asisstance in ensuring dogs keep their lives. Every Dog Deserves a Chance to be reclaimed, rehomed, rehabilitated if necessary and loved. Help us help them, sign and share.
