Growing up in the cold heart of East London, Remi is no stranger to the fast paced, unforgiving environment of the big city. Having been born and raised in the Bethnal Green/Mile End area, it made sense to him to go and take over Hackney with his 16+ parties that became notorious around the globe. After having peaked his fame at aged 19, he decided to pack it all in and become a tele-salesman, but that didnt work so he became a barman, but that didnt work so he became a gardener, but that didnt work so he went into retail, but that didnt work out either so he went to the job centre, but even that failed. So it was time for a re-think.......back to the events. Himself & a motley crew of ragtag scallywag Londoners decided to band together in an attempt to Be Ready with a collective called...... Be Ready. Which they were for a good couple of years, through squat parties, mansion events, festival stages, field takeovers, car park invasions, hotel parties & members club extravaganzas they all had fun. After a while they disbanded, factioned off, went their own separate ways, lost touch, found an iPod touch - Win. Remi started a new brand with a funny soul who goes by the name of Napper Dapper Tandy - this brand is known as Turf. Together as Turf they join forces in London. Individually, Napper represents the Cambridge leg of events. Whilst unbeknown to any living soul, Remi handles the Oxford side of life, which considering he is neither from there, studied there, or has a house there, seems a little odd... But its perfect, and his love for the city runs almost as deep as that of his love for calamari. Which is a lot. You can book Remi to come and play at one of your parties, his range is as wide as his stomach, and he does love a good bit of promotion. DISCO / FUNK / SOUL / HOUSE / GRIME / HIP HOP - You name it, hell claim it. VIBES AHOY!
