Please join my prayer ... Yesterday it was around 10 pm we were on the way to back home while waiting to cross the Thilai Ganga nagar road in our two wheeler (Opp to Karumari amman temple) under the under construction MRTS over bridge heard huge noise it appeared as if a big boulder came crashing hitting the ground it was dark when we attempted to examine closely we were shocked to find it was a labour who fell from the top of railing platform, while trying to call ambulance thanks to alert co-workers immediately rushed the injured man by pick up vehicle which is stationed to carry materials .... so please pray for the poor labor whose poor family must be anxiously waiting for him to return to work at the earliest as he must be a lone bread winner.... Very disturbing things on the whole is the labour who fell from top was not wearing head gear, no safety harness fastened and no safety net .... very importantly no ambulance.... had safety net been there this mishap could have been avoided.... what a callous attitude by the contractors whose main aim is to exploit the cheap labour this reminds what once US & Europeans did to africans .... but we are doing to our own people just because they are from most backward states of India... these poor lives are at peril due to pathetic living conditions & dangerous working conditions ....
