Please join the North Shore community in greeting Mayor Kirk Caldwell to his next Mayoral Town Hall tonight Tuesday, November 19 from 6-8 pm at the Kahuku High School cafeteria. This is another great opportunity for the community to build a relationship with the Mayor and to help him understand North Shore priorities including, but not limited to: making sure families have safe access to public beaches; prioritizing public parks on the North Shore as essential to the quality of life on Oahu; and preventing the closure of the City-owned Laniakea Support Park (3 acres at the Laniakea surf break) by the barricades proposed by the Department of Transportation (DOT). Mayor Caldwell and his department directors will report on the Mayor’s priorities and will outline upcoming road and sewer infrastructure projects, TheBus service improvements, park upkeep and events, and efforts to address homelessness. The public is encouraged to participate and make suggestions on how the Mayor can better serve the people of Oahu. This Town Hall will take place from 6-8 pm at Kahuku High School cafeteria tonight, Tuesday November 19 and will be broadcast live on ‘Olelo.
