Please join us Saturday, June 22, for The Voice of the Martyrs’ “Unashamed” Regional Conference. Conference speakers will encourage and challenge you through testimonies, God’s Word and information that will stir and equip you for his eternal purposes. The conference will feature the following speakers: “Sarah” Liu lived a life of faith in her homeland of China. Her unapologetic Christian beliefs ultimately led to her arrest, torture and imprisonment for six years. Reflecting on her experiences during that time, she says, “I thought of Christ being beaten on the way to the cross. He suffered for me, and in a small way I shared in that suffering for him. It gave me courage to survive my time in prison.” Her story is told in the video Sarah’s Trail of Blood. Robert Brock has been on staff with The Voice of the Martyrs since 1993. He has met with and served the persecuted church in Nigeria, China, Colombia, Bangladesh, Laos, Myanmar, Sudan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Cuba, India and many other countries. Robert travels throughout the United States sharing the stories of overcoming faith. Darcie Gill has been with VOM since 1998. She has met with and served our persecuted brothers and sisters in Sudan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cuba, India, China, Myanmar, Laos, Bangladesh, Colombia and many other countries. Darcie travels extensively around the US sharing about the persecuted church in conferences, churches and before a variety of other groups. Lunch will be on your own from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at area restaurants. There is no cost to attend the conference, but an offering will be received.
