Please join us as we Walk4Education this Friday, August 16, at 3:30 at FHS!!! We invite all school personnel, parents, students, and the concerned community to join us to show our thanks to the Board of Education and Commissioners for their fight to save our schools and to let Raleigh know our feelings about their attempts to destroy public education, turn tax money over to private charter schools, and remove money from necessary services in WNC to be used in other parts of the state. Bring water, umbrella, posters, hand fans, etc. We will walk from FHS to downtown and return to FHS. Anyone with physical problems may park at new Town Hall and join the walk there. BY ORDINANCE, WE MAY NOT BLOCK TRAFFIC IN ANY WAY. SPEECHES ARE NOT PLANNED. USE YOUR POSTERS AS YOUR VOICE.
