Please join us for the 6th Annual DC-CAPITAL STARS, A Tribute to Broadway, DC-CAP’s largest fundraiser and signature event. This unique event showcases 10 finalists from DC Public and Public Charter schools competing in vocal, dance, and instrumental performances. The winner of the competition receives a $10,000 scholarship toward their college education. DC-CAPITAL STARS attracts 1,000 guests and a panel of celebrity judges. This year’s panel will host Savion Glover, Patina Miller, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Esperanza Spaulding!* As a DC-CAP alumni, we are excited about your accomplishments and want to give you an opportunity to come full circle by attending our Young Professionals pre-event reception. The reception will be held at 6pm in the Chinese Lounge of the Kennedy Center. It will include hors D’oeuvres, light music, networking, and opportunities to take group pictures on the red carpet! RSVP today! Space is limited to only 50 guests, and will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are $50 and include the pre-event reception (6pm) and the performance (7pm).
