Please join us for worship on Sunday, 11.17.13 - all are invited and welcome! Worship services are at 8am in the Chapel and at 10am in the Sanctuary. The Rev. Peter Cooks sermon topic is: Disciples are Civically and Politically Active. Scripture reading is: Luke 21: 5 - 9. There will be refreshments - bagels, fruit, coffee, tea and juice/cider/water available in the Chapel from 9 to 10 am and following our 10am worship service - all are invited to enjoy these refreshments. PARKING: There is free parking available in all of the city parking garages - and all street metered spaces are also free - every Sunday. Our parking lot is for those with mobility challenges who need to have their car close by to navigate into the building safely. Thank you for your cooperation. ________________________________ CHILDCARE is available for infants and toddlers in the church Nursery, and for 3 & 4 year olds in the Pre-School Room (both are on the first floor), throughout the 10am worship service. Children’s coloring and activity pages, books, and finger labyrinths are available on the table at the back of the Sanctuary for use by children during the service. Weekly Sunday programs/schedule continue this week: - Fellowship gathering in the Chapel: 9am to 10am and following the 10am worship as described above. 8:45 to 9:45: Monthly PATH Gathering for all high school students including those specifically on the Path to Confirmation - in the first floor Conference Room. 9am to 9:45am: Our weekly Bible Study with Rev. Tom Taylor continues this Sunday at 9am in the Dining Room. 9am - Cherub Choir Rehearsal - All children in grades K-2 are welcome. Please gather in the Stone Room with Cherub Choir Director Kathleen Kono. 9:20am - Choragic Choir Rehearsal - All children in grades 3-8 are welcome. Please gather in the Stone Room with Cherub Choir Director Kathleen Kono. 9:45 - All High School Students are encouraged to gather in the Conference Room on the first floor at 9:45. Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat at the Flynn Theater at 2pm. If you have reserved a ticket to be part of our group - please see Laura Elder-Connors during the Fellowship Gathering after the 10:00 worship service. Those going to the play are welcome to join Linda Elrick and Laura Elder-Connors in the Dining Room for a simple soup and sandwich lunch - donations towards the cost of lunch will be invited.
