Please keep Abby in your prayers for a Christmas Miracle. I just got off the phone with her doctor not the nurse like earlier. The nurse made it seem as if Abby was out of the woods and that truly isnt the case at all!!! She said she still looks nothing like her normal color, we showed her through pictures. She had another chest xray today for looking at placement before calling ENT. Chronic Lung did call back and said that they dont know what is happening with her either and that pulmonology knows her well and that they need to be pulled in on this situation too and the call is made in. Of course this being a holiday weekend, Christmas of all holidays, staff is bones. She said she is still VERY concerned and that Abby DOESNT LOOK MUCH BETTER than yesterday. The only thing that came to me as I was praying was that they had started her back on Carnatine for metabolics but it was the same day or close to when all of this started to happen. Levo carnatine is known to cause stomach problems and can make you irritable. There is no harm in just stopping it to see if it will help her out and I told them to give her 24-48 hrs and they will know. If it is that which I told her could happen because Michael did have that issue and it isnt the carnatine I was after them to put her on alone but rather the b vitamins. Ill even gladly buy the b supplements because they do make those in liquid form but I am going to have to ask her on Friday when I see her again. Yesterday we only met with her and I think we need to get a much larger group together in the same room to brain storm, docs of old and new along with nursing staff. This would have to wail till after the holidays but I think we may need to do this. She needs more prayers now than ever and so do all of us. The kids are feeling a little under the weather and have already been started on antibiotics as a just in case because of Abby. I just dont want to take the risk of getting her sicker by taking the other kids to do as we planned. PLEASE SHARE ABBY WITH PEOPLE AND ASK THEM TO SHARE IT WITH THOSE THEY KNOW SO WE CAN GET AS MANY PRAYERS GOING AS POSSIBLE. I want that smile back!!!
