Please keep Luke in your thoughts and prayers. Luke Calitz, a grade 9 pupil at VP High School who suffers from Crohn’s disease, is currently in St Georges ICU recovering from an operation yesterday afternoon to remove part of his colon. The operation was successful and we wish Luke well and hope he has a better quality of life after this as he has been in tremendous pain for a long time. The first photo is of him still catching up on schoolwork in the hospital before the op, as he has missed a lot of school this year due to his illness The second photo is after the op. The doctors are confident the operation was successful. Our prayers go out to Luke and his Mom Caroline and Dad Anton.
