Please keep Lulu in your thoughts and prayers. Our sweet girl Lulu is in the hospital this morning with pneumonia. Her foster said this morning that she had no interest in eating and seemed to be having difficulty breathing. She was taken directly to our vet hospital where they took X-rays and found quite a bit of fluid in her lungs. She was immediately put on IV fluids and antibiotics. The vet is looking in to the cause. She has very high white blood cell count so very likely bacterial but doing an ultrasound today to rule out possible heart issues which at her age would likely be congenital. That is not the predominate thought - we are just ruling out possibilities. Lulu is resting and will remain at our vet for a minimum of 2-3 days.
