English Muslim Du’aa Honouring One’s Parents In the Name of ALLA1H the Merciful اللهم علمنى ما ينفعنى و انفعنى بما علمتنى وزدنى علما و عملا للصالحات و ارزقنى من واسع كرمك وعظيم رحمتك ... Praise is to ALLA1H and prayer and peace is upon the Messenger Muhammad, his family and companions and those who are guided by them until the Judgment day; ALLA1H kindly have mercy on our parents and forgive them, ALLA1H kindly land them in the house of your dignity and your safety and forgiveness, ALLA1H kindly wipe all their sins and eliminate their sins completely. ALLA1H kindly please forgive them for what they missed / wasted from their religious duties and supplement this by the efforts they did in our / my upbringing. ALLA1H kindly please always give them a share in all our good deeds and acts of worship and do not ever punish them or judge them by what we committed from sins. ALLA1H kindly have mercy on them during their vulnerability as they were during our weakness kind and merciful by us, ALLA1H kindly thank them for their efforts in our upbringing and reward them from all your bounties and kindly house them in your heaven. ALLA1H kindly please them by us in this life, after death and in the judgment day. ALLA1H kindly do not let them know our grievances, indignations, wrong doings or sins, only please them by us in this life and the hereafter and let them only be honoured and rewarded by us and our good doings and let them never endure any consequences of our wrong doings. ALLA1H kindly please be kindly merciful by our / my parents in this life, in their graves and on the Judgment day safeguard them, forgive them and kindly house them in your heaven. ALLA1H kindly teach us what is useful for us and benefit us by what you taught us and increase our knowledge, develop our skills and ALLA1H kindly utilize us in doing all the good doings and gift us, grant us & bless us from your broad generosity and great mercy and reward our parents by the efforts they did in our upbringing a share in all our good conducts, good deeds and good acts of worship. اللهم علمنى ما ينفعنى و انفعنى بما علمتنى وزدنى علما و عملا للصالحات و ارزقنى من واسع كرمك وعظيم رحمتك ALLA1H kindly teach me what is useful for me and benefit me by what you taught me and increase my knowledge, develop my skills and ALLA1H kindly utilize me in doing all the good doings and gift me, grant me & bless me from your broad generosity and great mercy and reward my parents by the efforts they did in my upbringing a share in all my good conducts, good deeds and good acts of worship. اللهم علمنى ما ينفعنى و انفعنى بما علمتنى وزدنى علما و عملا للصالحات و ارزقنى من واسع كرمك وعظيم رحمتك • FIRST Ask Alla1h to give you those things you want, then Think about what actions you have taken to get those things you want, then Develop a work plan to get those things you want in future and to fulfil all your needs. اللهم علمنى ما ينفعنى و انفعنى بما علمتنى وزدنى علما و عملا للصالحات و ارزقنى من واسع كرمك وعظيم رحمتك Praise is to ALLAH, Lord of the Worlds, prayer and peace is upon His Prophet and our Messenger Muhammad and all his family & companions.
