ARXUK Close Protection Training course is delivered by certified trainers at our headquarters in Nottingham over 15 days including the 3 Day at Work, First Aid qualification. This then allows each student to apply for an SIA License if successful after completion and subject to any criminal checks, CRB. The Close Protection training is a combination of classroom based power point lectures followed by practical assessments and scenario situations. You will also plan and arrange as a Team the Close Protection of a high profile Footballer and a special VIP to an evening function, ensuring their transportation and safety at all times. This will be carried out on two separate occasions and form part of your personal portfolio. Please note the course does not get put on hold or stop regardless of weather conditions. Included in the course will be physical training and unarmed combat sessions, residential security operations, outdoor pursuits and orienteering. All foot drills will be carried out in the centre of Nottingham and will include escorting and protecting a VIP throughout their complex itinerary within the City. ARXUK teach the required 140 hours guided learning as laid down by the SIA, but we can assure you we go above and beyond the national standard, this means that all students leave us a foot taller and a yard quicker having the mental and physical ability to deal with all Close Protection situations as they arise. ARXUK instructor’s vast operational and training experience will ensure that all students have a sound working understanding along with the skills and knowledge required to operate in the Security Industry. All students will be given the opportunity to practice interview techniques and have help with building their new CV.
