Please note that I am not defending sin in my last post. All I am saying is that we can not claim to be with out fault. This is however not an excuse to live in continual sin. Because John goes on to say in 1 John 3:6 Whosever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. My point is that some believers forget that they too were on the broad road to hell. Once born again they forget they were once sinners and without Jesus we would still be the same, carrying our sin to death. But he takes that away. We arent to boast, because God resists the proud. Moreover its The Fathers doing not our own. We only choose to commit ourselves to Him.
