Please note that Telford & Wrekin Council have produced an order to temporarily prohibit pedestrians travelling along the footpath between Victoria Park and Water Lane, Newport. The diversion route for pedestrians will be via a temporary walkway provided through the Newport Swimming Pool car park. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, over the length of the closure. This Order will become operative on Monday 15th July 2013 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the earlier completion of the works, estimated to be 6 months.
