Please pass the word North Vernon friends and share with your FB communities FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Dateline: November 14, 2014 Seymour, IN Tim Goodpaster, director of the Enter His Courts basketball league has announced additonal signups for the 2015 Enter His Courts basketball leagues in North Vernon. Signups will continue on Saturday November 15 from 9am to 11am at the Vernon Baptist Gym Signup forms to play can be printed from the Enter His Courts website at enterhiscourts.org and either mailed in or brought to the signup location. The entry fee for EHC in North Vernon will be $40.00 . Payment arrangements are available, and scholarships to play in the six week league are also available upon request. Friend request Timothy Goodpaster on Facebook to be in the information loop for Enter His Courts and our sister ministry, COFY School Assemblies. The league is open to all boys/girls and young men/women from the ages of five years old to age 22. Five year olds must bring a copy of their birth certificate to the signup locations showing proof that they are currently five or will turn five years old by February 24th of 2015. Five year olds will play on 6 foot rims and use smaller balls. Teams will be divided by grade/gender with the five year olds possibly playing in the kindergarten grade grouping if numbers so dictate. Dates for 2015 league play which are on Saturdays, will be January 17, 24, 31, Feb 7, 14, and 21st. February 28 will be the only snow date. Each child will receive a shirt and a trophy or medal for participating in the league. The trophy will be presented at the Enter His Courts Trophy Night Celebration, tentatively set for Sunday, February 23rd, 3pm in Seymour at the Cornerstone Ministry Center. Currently Enter His Courts is being enjoyed by over 700 kids and young people in Seymour, North Vernon, and Brownstown, Indiana. Medora will be our newest EHC this year. Last spring the 15th season of the Mens Enter His Courts March Madness Division was completed in Seymour. Eighty men and high school varsity players participated in the six week league that featured a league tourney, three point shooting contest, and a dunk contest . Info and signups for the EHC Mens Division March Madnes will be released in January for the March month long league 2015 will be the 26th year of league play as Enter His Courts continues its teaching, encouragement, and love through basketball leagues that share the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with players and their fans. Enter His Courts takes the crush-kill-win-at all cost mentality out of basketball and allows young people to enjoy great competition while developing relationships with other young people throughout the nine county area here in south central Indiana and around the country.
