The response from the community in numbers attending this Round Table will be about the simplest and most productive sign to the Municipality that we, indeed, support the converting of Centre School into a centre that would consist of a 400 to 500 seat theatre with ample green space and parking; an in-house t.v., film and video production facility with soundstage; music studio; art gallery; gift store selling cds, dvds, prints, original artwork, handicrafts, books, clothing - everything created by members in our community; a licensed bistro and smaller open-mic stage; dance studio; class rooms; production offices for the running of the Centre as well as one created to help and advise members of the SSCPVA Society in marketing and other practical endeavors. We need to encourage, teach and preserve the Acadian, Celtic and Aboriginal arts; be able to host the East Coast Music Awards and Symphony Nova Scotia; and be considered the East coast equivalent to the Banff School of Fine Arts with accommodations. Our next step is the Business Proposal and for this we need many heads to help put pen to paper.
