Aggarwal age.13 years,Dhruv aggarwal son of Ashwin Aggarwal age 14 years ,who unfortunately died in road side accident along with four members of family 4 years ago. Dinesh Aggarwal owner of renowned Kala shree emporium of jullunder ,took initiative of donating his son and his brothers son Dhruvs eyes even at time of great grief and donated eyes through our branch Nawanshar eye donation centre and set the example for rest of world. New era of eye donation journey was started in jullunder 4years ago by joint initiative of punarjot eye bank ludhiana,Dinesh aggarwal and his friend dr Bowry by starting of eye collection centre in sweet memory of our star young eye donors Dhruv aggarwal and Archit aggarwal. Today we paid tribute to departed souls at Kala shree emporium along with Ashok Mehra from punarjot eye collection Phagwara and Subhash Malik secretary ,and thanked Dinesh aggarwal ,s contribution to eye donation movement in Jullunder area and set a example for society. Eye donation of kids not only gave gift of sight to blind persons but open the eyes of society to shed off the old myths and social taboos regarding eye donation. Our both young eye donors will be always remembered as heroes of eye donation history in punjab and will remain shine like star Dhruv in long way.
