Please post: Yesterday, a male Yorkie was found around Quail Run. This dog had on a blue collar and his rabies tag. This dog was posted on the Columbuzz Lost Dog Facebook page. The individual that found the dog could not keep the dog overnight. She recd a call from a private and/or blocked number from someone stating that the would foster the dog overnight and take the dog in the morning to check for a micro-chip and/or to the vet on the rabies tag. No names/phone numbers were exchanged when they met at Fairoaks mall to exchange the dog. The individual that has the dog has not taken the dog to Columbus Animal Control, Bartholomew County Humane Society or to the vet named on the rabies tag. The owner of the dog is now known. To whomever has this dog, please take to the vet named on the rabies tag or either shelter so this dog can be returned to its owner or call 812-375-4264 and an individual that is involved with rescues will be glad to meet and take this dog to the owner.
