Below are arrangements: Mr. Ricky Allen Carroll 1961 - 2013 Visitation: Thursday, July 18, 2013, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 Interment: Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olive Hill, Kentucky Born: March 16, 1961 Died: July 15, 2013 Mr. Ricky Allen Carroll, age 52, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday morning, July 15, 2013, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born March 16, 1961, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of the late Vaughn Delane and Virginia "Jenny" Richards Carroll. Ricky was of the Christian faith and was an electrician with IBEW Local Number 317 in Huntington, West Virginia. He enjoyed farming, four wheeling, camping, jeeping, boating, and being outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen Vaughn Carroll and John David Carroll, and his father-in-law, Hairm Edward "Ed" Maggard. Ricky is survived by his wife, Melissa Maggard Carroll; one brother, Robert Wayne Carroll and his wife, Bonnie, of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three sisters, Pamela Ann Anderson and husband, David, of Webbville, Kentucky, Lisa Elaine Carroll and friend, Michael Wood, of Morehead, Kentucky, and Rita Lynn Hughes and husband, Tim, of Seward, Nebraska; his mother-in-law, Bessie Gallion Maggard; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Jerry Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, and until the service hour on Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
